Abstract: |
The purpose of the study was to find out the effects of SKY practices to develop the behavioural attitudes of the school teachers. It was hypothesized that there would be significant differences on the behavioural attitudes to the effect of SKY practices among the school teachers. For the present study the 20 female teachers from Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu were selected at random and their age ranged from 22 to 55 years. The subjects of all 20 underwent SKY practices. The data was collected before and after 10 months of SKY practices. The data was analyzed by applying dependent mean, standard deviation and t - test. The level of significance was set at <0.05. It was analyzed using general health questionnaire. The SKY practices had positive impact on the mental health in the teachers. The experimental subjects showed better improvement on behavioural attitudes in the teachers. |

Abstract: |
Fault diagnosis is one of the most important tasks in network fault management. However, the traditionalnetwork fault diagnosis technologies cannot deal with incomplete information. Besides, they don't havegood learning ability and fault-tolerant feature. In this paper, we present a knowledge-based diagnosismethod called selective hidden naive bayesian (SHNB) classifier to diagnose power communicationnetwork fault. It selects parts of strong dependent relations' attributes as hidden parent for each attributeaccording to conditional mutual information. Compared to naive bayes (NB), tree augmented naïvebayesian (TAN), hidden naive bayes (HNB), our experiments show that SHNB algorithm outperformsthree other algorithms in accuracy, and has lower complexity compared to HNB and TAN. In addition,SHNB algorithm possesses good learning ability. As the same time, its fault-tolerant feature can deal with incomplete information very well. |

Abstract: |
World Wide Web is a distributed diverse information resource which includes hyperlinks and data with exponential growth. It has been developed not to be easy to access preferred information that matches with user needs and interest. Web has become a most popular trend in terms of ease of use rich contents related to almost every field of life. However, it retrieves more number of documents, which are all related to the search topics and to retrieve the most meaningful documents related to search topics, ranking algorithm is used in information retrieval process. The existing work improved the web information retrieval, used to find out the importance of particular web page that is being evaluated by the user click and as well as the content available on the web. The proposed work extends the previous work by generalizing the user click based relevant content information. In weighted page ranking based on the higher value, web page is ranked to enhance information retrieval on web. The result derived using the approach demonstrates the effective and efficiency of page ranking algorithm. |

Abstract: |
Hospital A is a private Hospital in Malaysia. Various indicators were monitored in this hospital for year 2014 and 2015. For timeliness of care, four indicators were monitored consisting of:Ensuring100% of patients are in OT complex within 30 minutes from the time ward was informed by OT, Ensuring 90% of case notes to be retrieved one day before the appointment date, Ensuring 85% of the laboratory result will be produced within the stipulated turnaround time (TAT) and Ensuring 95 % of new admission will be served with prescribed medication within one hour upon admission. For efficiency of care, sixth indicators were monitored consisting of: Percentage of elective operation cancellation, Ambulatory Care cases cancellation rate,Unplanned admission of ambulatory care patients,Less than 2.5 cross match to transfusion ratio, Less than 3% expired red cells and Rejection rate of specimen. For the indicator related to OT complex, there were 4 cases of non- compliance in 2014 but for 2015 the number of non-compliance had increased tremendously to 48 cases. Quality objective of 90% case note retrieved was achieved for both years of 2014 and 2015. For laboratory result the objective was not achieved in July and August of 2014 due to shortage of manpower .However for 2015, the quality objective was achieved for the whole year and much higher compared to 2014. Regarding the new admission, only Dahlia ward failed to achieve the targetin 2014.However Lavender ward and Flora ward failed to achieve the target in 2015. In term of efficiency of care, forPercentage of elective operation cancellation, the Mean for cancellation rate was 5.03 % (181 cases) for 2014 and 4.78% (164 cases) for 2015.Ambulatory Care cases cancellation rate for 2014, were 2 cases and 8 cases in 2015. For Unplanned admission of ambulatory care patients, in year 2014total unplanned patients were 29 cases where as in 2015 were 41 cases.Blood Transfusion Services managed to achieve target for less than 2.5 cross match to transfusion ratio for the whole year of 2014 and 2015.In term of expired red cells, the Blood Transfusion Services had achieved the target for less than 5% in 2014. However in 2015, the target was reduced to 3% instead of 5% and due to this change,in June, July and October 2015, the target was not achieved. For Rejection rate of specimen, the Mean for 2014 was 0.65% which is smaller compared to 1.11% in 2015. |

Abstract: |
The use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) material in concrete pavement as both fine and coarse aggregates has been shown to be a feasible way of utilizing this material. The results from previous studies indicated that RAP in concrete mix generates greatly improved toughness and energy absorbing capacity of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) which can result in better performance in the concrete pavement application. However, most of the currently used finite element (FE) models consider the concrete slabs as a linear elastic material while the RAP concrete behavior shows a non-linear stress-strain behavior. In this study, a non-linear 3-D finite element model which incorporated the actual stress-strain behavior of the RAP concrete was developed to evaluate how the non-linear stress-strain behavior of these ductile concrete affects the prediction of the stresses in concrete. The results indicated that the FE model incorporating the actual stress-strain behavior of the RAP concrete, instead of the assumption of the concrete as a linear elastic material, tends to give lower computed stresses in the slab under critical temperature-load condition. This difference may cause the error in the predicted potential performance of the concrete pavement containing RAP. Therefore, the appropriate analytical model incorporating the actual stress-strain characteristics should be employed to accurately predict the structural responses of the RAP concrete pavement. |

Abstract: |
This study aims for analyzing the structural responses of the shotcrete liner reinforced with several different type of steel supports. Effects of the different type of steel supports (bar reinforcements and H-shape supports) on the shotcrete liner are numerically investigated beyond its peak load capacity. To simulate nonlinear composite behaviors of the shotcrete-steel support, a fiber section element modelis used. The numerical load-displacement response is compared with previous experimental data on the shotcrete lining without reinforcements to validate the numerical model. Several parametric studies on the performance of the composite support are also conducted to obtain some clues related to the optimized steel type. |
