Abstract:
Over the last few years, there has been a growing body of work on tools for digital image forensics. These tools are capable of detecting tampering in images from any camera, without relying on watermarks or specialized hardware. Instead of watermarks, these tools assume that images possess certain regularities that are disturbed by tampering. So to evaluate the algorithms for image manipulation and to group they based upon their degree of manipulation. It is also important to consider image compression of image files in the area of work. An evaluation and comparison of the existing forgery detection techniques, and carry out the evaluation along with defining a new grouping structure for forgery detection techniques. There are cases when it is difficult to identify the edited region from the original image. Detection of forgery part of an image drives a need of an authenticity and to maintain integrity of an image. Here in work two techniques such DWT and PCA with SURF as detector is implemented to detect the forged part of an image from tampered image. Both algorithms have their own validation but PCA with Surf improves to be better in all respective. As in PCA SURF we can detect as well remove the forged object and it also takes less time to solve the detection problem than DWT SURF.

Abstract:
In this paper, it is aimed to investigate the study of thermal barrier coating on piston crown in a single cylinder four stroke diesel engine. This research is intended to emphasis on performance and emission characteristic for with and without thermal barrier coated piston on single cylinder diesel engine. Research is carried out at different engine load conditions for standard and thermal barrier coated engine. Three different thermal barrier coatings (TBC) are coated in piston crown with different material and different composition such as 1. MO +Al2O3, 2. Al2O3 + TiO2, 3.Zr2O3 + Y2O3, by atmospheric plasma spray method. Tests were performed on a single cylinder, four stroke, direct injection, diesel engine whose piston crown was coated with 300μm thickness of three different thermal barrier coating materials in different composition ratio such as 1. MO +Al2O3 (60%+40%), 2 Al2O3 + TiO2 (60%+40%), 3. .Zr2O3 + Y2O3 (92%+8%), over a 150μm thickness of NiCrAlY bond coat. The results showed was decreasing on Brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) and increasing brake thermal efficiency (BTE). There was a increasing on exhaust gas temperature, increasing NOx emission and decreasing the CO and HC emission on exhaust gas, on TBC engine when compared to without coated piston at different engine load conditions.

Abstract:
The project entitled "THE ANALYSIS OF SPLINE PROFILE AND ITS MANUFACTURING". Which explores information about spline cutter profile, spline cutting and splines manufacturing. A series of projections and slots used instead of a key to prevent relative rotation of cylindrically fitted machine parts. Splines are several projections machined on a shaft, the shafts fits into mating bore is called a spline fitting. Spline are made in two forms square and involutes. Spline profiles are mostly important in spline cutting process so the analysis of spline profile is most important in the process of splines manufacturing. The designation of a spline profile is module, pitch circle diameter, number of teeth. Mostly in industries spline profiles are involutes splines, in which pressure angle and module are very important considerations for spline cutting. Mostly in spline profile 30 degrees pressure angle is widely used in industries. If we change any parameter in involutes spline curve there should be some effect on involutes spline causes to change the pitch center line and tooth thickness. This results making of two spline profiles are difficult and causes to failure of splines. Spline cutting is the process carried out internally and externally. In internal splines broaching and slotting operations are carried out and at the same time external splines can be manufactured by the process of hobbing, milling and shaping. In spline cutting carefully analyse the teeths provided on the end of shafts and stresses acted on the teeth. After analysing the teeth profile in spline cutting, analyse the process of spline manufacturing. In spline hobbing, the hob has a number of cutting tools provided and generates the spline profile on a shaft and also on shaping and milling single cutting tool produces profile cutting operation on a shaft.

Abstract:
This article focuses on review of recent findings on potential of waste aggregate in concretepavements. Waste aggregates namely RCA (Recycled concrete aggregate), RAP (Recycled Asphalt Pavement) and WFS (Waste Foundry Sand) were considered in the review study. There are considerable laboratory findings for use of waste aggregate in concrete pavements. However, there is limited information available on field studies in Indian scenario. From the studies conducted in United States and Europe, it is clear that RCA and RAP do perform when used as aggregate in concrete pavements. There is no specific information available on field performance of WFS in cement concrete, but laboratory studies show that WFS can be partially replaced for fine aggregate in cement concrete pavement.

Unified Power Quality Conditioner with minimum VA rating for harmonic compensation
Authors:
P. Chandra Satish
Source:
International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 51 - 63, Vol 01 - No. 09, 2016
Abstract:
The project deals with Minimum VA rating handled by a Unified Power Quality Conditioner, which consists of Series and Shunt Active Power Filter. The Series Active Filter is Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR), which regulates the voltage at the point of common coupling with minimum VA loading. The Shunt Active Filter is Distribution Static Compensator (DSTATCOM) which compensates the reactive power and eliminates the load current harmonics from the source current. In this proposed method the total power handled by UPQC is minimum than the other conventional methods and it has been investigated by simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 64 - 70, Vol 01 - No. 09, 2016
Abstract:
The dimensionality of the feature space when being high affects the classification accuracies and the computational complexity due to redundant, irrelevant and noisy features present in the dataset. Feature Selection extracts the more informative and distinctive features from any dataset to improve the classification accuracy. Nature Inspired Algorithms are famous meta-heuristic search algorithm used in solving combinatorial optimization problems. Previously, we have proposed FS algorithms based on ACO, ABC, EABC and by the convincing results produced by these algorithms we have proposed Firefly Algorithm(FA),Cuckoo Search(CA) ,Harmony Search(HAS) for feature selection procedure. This paper proposes a new method of feature selection by using FA to optimize the selection of features. Ten UCI datasets have been used for evaluating the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that, FA-Feature Selection has resulted in optimal feature subset configuration and increased classification accuracies.

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 71 - 78, Vol 01 - No. 09, 2016
Abstract:
This paper presents the load carrying capacities of concrete filled steel tubes (CFT) subjected to compression loading. The study on the behavior of CFT and various parameters influencing their behavior are carried out using commercially available ANSYS, FEM software. Predicting the behavior of CFT using the modeling software has become economical and this is time saving. Nonlinear finite element analysis of Concrete filled steel tube is performed by varying parameter such as grade of concrete infill, diameter to thickness ratio of the steel (D/t).

Abstract:
The provision requires structural engineer to perform linear static analysis for the design of a structure. Displacements, storey shears and overturning moments are the major factors that cause severe building damages due to earthquake. In the present work RCC flat slab structure and conventional slab structures are considered for comparative study of 6 storey building which is situated in earthquake zone-II and for earthquake loading, the provisions of IS: 1893 (Part1)-2002 is considered. A three dimensional modeling and analysis of the structure are carried out with the help of E-tabs 2015 software. Linear Static Method of Analysis and Response spectrum analysis method are used for the analysis of both Flat slab structure and Conventional slab structure. The forces and all the relative displacements, storey shears and overturning moments that are developed in each of the structure are analyzed. The results that are obtained from the analysis are discussed. Further these results have been used for understanding the performance of flat slab structure and conventional slab structure under the effects of lateral loads and earthquake. The results are compared and found that flat slab structure perform well in earth quake condition than the conventional slab structure.
