Abstract:
TModern world requires controlling the industrial devices in remote manner. This would possible if and only if the present technique adopt the recent development as Internet of Things. The main limitations of the conventional techniques are that they are in lagging with security. The data from the private unit is traced by hackers or attacked by threats, which degrades the performance of the conventional networking systems. This paper proposes Genetic Algorithm (GA) based encryption and decryption algorithm in IoT server architecture in order to improve the level of security. The performance of the proposed encryption methodology in IoT server system is analyzed using Number of Changing Pixel Rate (NPCR), Unified Averaged Changed Intensity (UACI) and Information Entropy (IE).

Abstract:
Manufactured Components needs process capability index (Cpk) to appraise the quality of their items in order to improve quality and cut down the operating costs which enhance the productivity and help them to stay competitive market. In this work statistical quality control tools are used to evaluate the process capability in machined component. Causes for the occurrence of defect should be addressed during the process itself. Understanding the process and its parameter’s effect and influence the manufactured component is necessary to detect the deviations. Reducing the inspection time and number of rejections during manufacturing is addressed using the Lean-Six Sigma principle. Lean six sigma principle and techniques are being applied to the process to understand causes of the defects and to reducing the defect by following the optimized defect free process designed based on lean six sigma. This help to reduce the inspection time as well as reworking time and also reduce the cost incurred with above and rejections. In this work a machined (VMC) component is considered for analysis. During the observation of hole diameter of the components some of the deviation are identified. The main objective of this work is to minimize the deviations and improved the process capability & performance capability.

Abstract:
disposal sites. Waste management contributed 14% of the total global methane emissions and about 3.45% of India’s total greenhouse gas (GHG)emissions in 2010 with 6,5052.47GgCO2eq emissions. In 2015, India committed to decrease its emissions intensity per unit gross domestic product by 33–35% below 2005 levelstill 2030.
This study was undertaken with an aim to evaluate the emissions from a non-engineered landfill site and validate the findings with past pilot study. This study is the first-of-its-kind in India providing an impetus for other cities to evaluate their non-engineered sites and validate models for better reporting purposes. The developed model can also help countries evaluate the impacts of their policies and rules in reducing GHG emissions.
A model for evaluating GHG emissions was developed based on IPCC 2006 methodology and site-specific inputs and validated with respect to a past study conducted at Okhla Landfill, Delhi, India. The model predicted siteGHGemissionsas 275 Gg CO2eqyr-1in the year 2011 and 285.5 Gg CO2 eqyr-1in 2017. The developed model on IPCC 2006 methodology was also validated and indicated 16.6% lower predicted value.
The modelling exercise also estimated,a potential of 1,483.5 Gg CO2 eq GHG emission reduction till 2050 from Okhla disposal site, with an estimated peak emission suppression by 21.79%with intrusion of Swachh Bharat Mission and Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.

Abstract:
Automatic recognition of people is a challenging problem which has received much attention during the recent years due to its many applications in different fields. Face recognition is one of those challenging problems and up to date, there is no technique that provides a robust solution to all situations and different applications that face recognition may encounter. This work elaborates the design of an new color local texture features, i.e., color local Gabor wavelets (CLGWs) and color local binary pattern (CLBP), for the purpose of face recognition (FR). The proposed color local texture features are able to exploit the discriminative information derived from spatio chromatic texture patterns of different spectral channels within a certain local face region. In addition, to perform the final classification, multiple color local texture features are combined within a feature-level fusion framework. Experimental results show that FR approaches using color local texture features impressively yield better recognition rates than FR approaches using only color or texture information for recognition purpose, simulated in MATLAB.

Authors:
D. Ashok kumar, A.Sankari
Source:
International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 59 - 68, Vol 03 - No. 04, 2018
Abstract:
Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is caused by diabetes mellitus that damages the retina and leads to the vision loss. The development of automatic system for the diagnosis and grading of DR depends on the efficient detection of lesions in the retinal fundus images. Existing detection approaches suffer due to high complexity and are not feasible. To mitigate this issue, this paper presents a group-based low-rank sparse representation for the detection of DR. A Hybrid Morphological-based Scanning Window Analysis and Hit-or-Miss Transformation (HMSWA-HMT) is applied for the segmentation of retinal image. Group-based low-rank sparse representation is applied for extracting the candidate features from the segmented images. The Difference Subspace Sparse representation based Classification (DSSRC) method focuses on improving the distinguishability for the classes rather than the representation capability for the samples. The DSSRC is applied for the classification of the retinal images into normal and abnormal images. From the experimental analysis, it is observed that the proposed work yields high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy than the existing classification techniques.

Abstract:
Software Defined Networking (SDN)is required for integrating and converging networks and for bringing in flexibility to networks and to reach the objective of vendor independent networking. By effecting the traffic patterns, improving scalability and achieving vendor independence, a controlled network is developed. Here we work on a network consisting of virtual hosts, switches, controller and links. This calls for the need of a network emulator and we employ Mininet for the same. Mininet runs on Linux platform. This idea when realizedon a PC, we require to run more than one operating system at a time. Virtual box(VB) allows a user to run software written for one operating system(OS) on another without having to reboot. Here we make use of an open source SDN controller, OpenDayLight Controller. This provides modular open platform for customizing and automating networks of any size and scale. Postman is the http client which is employed here to push the flows. The layer 2 rules which include flow rules for packet transfer are pushed upon desired network as a part of designing.
