Abstract:
Post economic reforms in India i.e. Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization (LPG), the entire Nation has been pushed to operate efficiently and effectively not only within the country but globally, which demands higher caliber managerial personnel, in terms of skill and knowledge to manage the ever changing and never ending competitive environment. These days the environment around any business organization is charged with Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity and unless management graduates delivered by the management institutions are competent enough to deal with such situation, these management institutions will lose their credibility in the market. To develop positive credibility and image, these management institutions need to be accredited or certified.
Accreditation or Certification in education is the process by which an external association or agency evaluates an educational institution or programme offered by the Institution and formally recognizes the Institution as having met and satisfied certain predetermined requirements and criteria or standards of educational quality. Apart from ensuring quality Accreditation or Certification will also enhance public Confidence or Trust about that educational institution.
It is in this context, the present study “Quality in Indian Management Institutions – Accreditation or Certification is Mandatory - Conceptual Paper " was taken up.

Abstract:
Water pump with a pendulum is a very simple solution for pumping water. It provides reduction of work; it was enough to move the pendulum by just switching on the motor to pump with large swings. Work is reduced because easier, effortless and long-lasting use of the hand pump has been enabled. Input energy for starting the process of pumping, in form of power supplied by solar panel connected to battery then to the motor of the pendulum, is much less than with typical hand pumps. Whereas typical hand pumps require significant effort and an average person can use the pump continuously only for several minutes, the pendulum pump needs the minimum of the effort, because it is only necessary to switch the motor that is connected to the pendulum and maintain the oscillation for several hours, without any fatigue. Here, under this work, pendulum operated pump is fabricated. The study explains the effect of creating the free energy in the device made of a) Oscillating pendulum lever system, b)system for initiating and maintaining the oscillation of the pendulum, c)system which uses the energy of the device by damping the oscillations of the lever. The operation of the machine is based on forced oscillation of the pendulum, since the axis of the pendulum affects one of the arms of the two armed lever by a force which varies periodically.

Abstract:
This Project is all about developing an equipment to utilize the irrigation or agricultural water from the canals to produce electricity. Electricity forms the backbone & basic necessity of a poor farmer. Hydropower is the cheapest way to generate electricity today. No other energy source, renewable and non-renewable, can match it. In the developing nation like India, with the increase in population and rise in the usage of electricity is increasing at an alarming rate. The following paper gives an idea about efficient use of water wheels in an open channel flow which gives cheap, low scale power generation solution for simple electrification purpose. This is achieved by a horizontal axis waterwheel attached to a Dynamometer, converts mechanical energy into electrical energy, with the help of a belt and pulley arrangement. The full bridge rectifier allows for electricity to be transmitted in its most efficient form while still being able to power ordinary direct current into pure direct current. Regulator to regulate a current and a battery to store it.

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 59 - 67, Vol 05 - No. 08, 2020
Abstract:
Methane gas is one of the gases produced in chemical reactors. Methane gas concentrations need to be measured in order to be safe and controlled to produce optimal chemical processes. In addition, the large concentration of methane gas can be harmful to health. At present it is difficult to obtain a methane gas concentration (CH4) data acquisition system that can store and display data for a long time. Therefore, in this research, an instrumentation system for measuring methane gas concentration that works digitally and computerize is created. This system consists of sensors, computer interface systems and computers as data storage and display. The sensor used for methane gas measurement uses the semiconductor type SnO2 which converts the gas concentration into voltage. The sensor signal is sent to the computer via a computer interface consisting of an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) and a serial data communication system. ADC and serial data communication systems are built using the Arduino Due microcontroller which is programmed using the C programming language. Computer programs are made to obtain concentration, store data and display it on the monitor. The results of this study indicate that the methane gas concentration can be acquired via a computer, can be stored in data records and can display the conditions of the methane gas concentration during a chemical reaction.

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 68 - 75, Vol 05 - No. 08, 2020
Abstract:
Using of lightweight concrete as a construction material is increasing due to its desirable properties of reduction of dead loads and cost. Flexural behavior tests were conducted on simply supported singly rectangular reinforcedconcrete (RC) beams of lightweight coarse aggregate concrete subjected to four points bending test up to failure. Lightweight coarse aggregate was produced from natural material locally available (Attapulgite) by burning it at 1100ºC for 30 minutes and treating it with sodium hypochlorite of 6% concentration for 24 hour. The effect of tensile reinforcement ratios (0.8, 1.17 and 1.76%) was investigated. The flexural performance of the beams is discussed in terms of cracking and ultimate load capacity, load-deflection relationships, failure mode, crack pattern and ductility, as well as the mechanical properties of the concrete were studied. The test results show that using of Attapulgite as coarse aggregate and treating it by sodium hypochlorite solution of 6% concentration greatly contributed to enhance the mechanical properties of concrete. Also, as the tensile reinforcement ratio increases, the ultimate load of the tested beams increases. Cracking load to the ultimate load proportion was less than 20% for all beams. Beam of 1.76% steel reinforcement ratio had largest experimental ultimate load capacity in this study. All beams exhibited a typical flexural failure mode. All Attapulgite beams produced sufficient predicted ductility (more than 3).
