Abstract:
This project is based on the “voice assistance based News web application” development and provides a personal assistant using voice recognition or text mode operation. In this fast-moving the present study proposes the newer concept of voice controlled devices that recognizes one's voice; process the request and assigns the time and date of the appointment based on the request with details as name of the person; date; time and other related information like crime report, latest news update and many more related news updated available here. The hands-free approach provided by the system goes to a great length and makes the user interact more often as the user usually prefers to use voice command rather than giving commands by typing. The system will reduce the amount of human effort required by the user to perform previously and will offer a more exciting way of getting informed. The system provides a very user-friendly, easy to use, dynamic, and informative user experience. Voice-enabled web messaging applications offer a simplistic approach, are easy to use, and easy for users to understand. This web application supports multiple languages and everyone can understand or speak their own language. We can observe that new ways of reading the news are replacing old ones. Messages are hand-tailored to grab the reader's attention and are also available in a short, to-the-point format. It will also be read as the default language you set. You can also follow the command to read all headings. You can provide voice as a way to improve the user experience and control the functionality of your e-commerce website, as well as easily access other e-commerce websites. It also allows him to compare two products based on search results. We need to develop devices with built-in speech recognition that can recognize speech even in crowded environments where voice is the only form of interaction between devices and humans. The device captures audio through the device's microphone, processes requests made by humans, and responds to humans with appropriate results. Very useful for health and time management news, set new categories of your choice, plan news timings and start on schedule. One of the biggest advantages of the proposed system is that speech recognition is not only limited to mobile phones, laptops, or computers, but can be delivered to all types of devices with which users interact, such as smart TVs, smart watches, etc. Recognition is to be installed.

Control Charts, Scientific Derivation of Control Limits and Average Run Length
Authors:

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 11 - 45, Vol 08 - No. 01, 2023
Abstract:
Control Charts, devised by W. A. Shewhart, in the 1950s have been greatly appreciated by Deming and Juran who introduced them in Japan. Good decisions depend on Scientific analysis of data. Data are collected, generally, in two ways: 1) one single sample of suitable size, 2) subsequent samples at regular intervals of time. Often, the data are considered Normally distributed; this is not completely right; data must be analysed according to their distribution: decisions are different with different distributions. We show the Theory to compute the Control Limits of the Control Charts and mention the case of a Professor of Statistics. We compare our findings with Shewhart findings; we extend the ideas to deal with “rare events” (data not Normally distributed); we compare our results, found by RIT, for cases in the literature: there is a big difference between the Shewhart Control Charts and the Time Between Events CC; considering that, future decisions of Decision Makers will be both sounder and cheaper, when data are not normally distributed. ARL depends on the data distribution, not only on the “false alarm rate”. The novelty of the paper is due to the Scientific Way of Computing the Control Limits (that are an “Equivalence Classes”), both for the mean and for the variance.

Abstract:
Fuzzy Time Series is a forecasting method using the concept of fuzzy sets as the basis for forecasting modeling. In an approach based on fuzzy set theory, uncertainty modeling is done by utilizing membership values. Fuzzy C-Means is a fuzzy cluster method to obtain membership values from the input model by using a membership function. Artificial Neural Network is a fuzzy logic-based method that can model uncertainty using membership values. To overcome the many operations of the matrix R with a large number in the first-order model method, it can be overcome by high-order fuzzy time series. This study aims to forecast the USD exchange rate using the FCM-based high-order fuzzy time series forecasting method on the fuzzification step and ANN with multiple inputs and multiple outputs to identify fuzzy relationships. The results showed that MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) and MdAPE (Median Absolute Percentage Error) were small. This indicates that the high-order fuzzy time series is able to predict the USD data foreign exchange rate very well.

Abstract:
This work considered the development and simulation of models that can predict the flow of CH4 gas in coal bed using Fick’s and Darcy’s laws. The models were developed from first principles and solved using central difference approximation (CDA) method, since the developed models were partial differential equations in nature. The following operating parameter were obtained from five different coal mines in United States of America Department of Interior: A (Marshall County Mine), B (Enlow Fork Mine), C (River View mine), D (Tunnel Ridge Mine) and E (Ohio County Mine). The operating data obtained were: temperature, pressure, porosity, diffusivity, permeability, and density of coal matrix. Fick’s law at a diffusivity of 0.11556m2/h, 0.0756m2/h, 0.1746m2/h, 0.25508m2/h, 0.32364m2/h, and porosity of 0.0271, 0.0235, 0.0305, 0.0383, and 0.0399 gave methane gas recovery of 80.3%, 77.98%, 81.99%, 82.39% and 82.96% respectively. Darcy’s law at permeability of 1.6876 x 10-13m2, 2.4772 x 10-13m2, 2.8127 x 10-13m2, 3.1217 x 10-14m2, 3.4315 x 10-14m2, and porosity of 0.0235, 0.0271, 0.0305, 0.0383 and 0.0399 gave methane gas recovery rate of 68.57%, 72.92%, 75.95%, 77.17% and 79.44% respectively. Fick’s and Darcy’s law were compared with plant data from literature for five different coal mines. A to E. It was observed that Fick’s law was dominant for mines B, and D while Darcy’s law was dominant for mines, A,C and E in terms of having the lowest percent deviation from plant data for methane recovery percent. This is because the more fracture the coal bed is more dominant Darcy’s law applies, since mass transport through fracture is governed by permeability constant which is a constant in Darcy’s law, also the more the porosity of the coal mine the more dominant Fick’s law applies because mass transport through coal (micropore structure) is governed by diffusivity which is a constant in Fick’s law.

Abstract:
This study, part of the understanding and control of floods in the regions of Adamawa, the north and the far north, has primarily consisted not only in determining the main factors at the origin of the floods, in evaluating the '' impact of floods on society, on the environment, on the economy and on the safety of the populations, to inventory the sites very vulnerable to flooding but also to evaluate the strategies already in place and to propose new techniques. Thanks to a methodology based both on isohyets, on historical collections of flood episodes, analyzes by geographers, tables and figures, we have achieved numerous results. Catastrophic floods are real and permanent; these are much more pressing in the regions of the north and the far north than in Adamawa; they constitute societal, economic, environmental and economic facts. These floods are caused by the existence of low altitudes, of a vast peneplain marked by basins of Benue, Diamare and that of Lake Chad. Likewise, the discontinuity of vegetation and the state of the soil surface are real catalysts for these floods. These are accentuated because of the increase in rainfall in July and August and certain human failures. These ruthless floods destroy fields, houses, bridges, roads, accelerate erosion, endanger the security of populations, weaken food security, and in places block the movement of goods and people. During flood episodes, we count thousands of homeless people and epidemics of disease. Faced with all this damage caused by the floods, certain strategies such as: the construction of traditional and modern dikes, the emergency flood control project (PULCI), although effective, do not seem to completely reduce the disastrous impact of the floods. For this, it is also useful to: promote the construction of shelter districts (grouping together shelter houses); modernize and equip meteorological services; from time to time evacuate populations and livestock; create rapid alert services in relation to events extreme weather; provide community radio stations at sites that are very often affected; spread the PULCI in the three regions and finally build several outlets. On the whole, this analysis based on the problem of floods resulted in the protection at the same time in the protection of the populations, the goods, the infrastructures, the agricultural and commercial activities and even the environment. It also invites us to proceed with the development of the territory.
