Abstract:
Mubi is one of the cowpea producing areas in Adamawa State, Nigeria. However, considerable percentage of the harvested beans are lost at various levels of handling due to agents of deterioration as well as the rudimentary postharvest techniques and storage facilities. Farmers and grain handlers have employed various approaches for enhancing the storability of harvested grains, some of their methodologies are associated with limitations and challenges. In view of these, a deep-type, mini-silo was designed, fabricated and evaluated for the storage of cowpea in Mubi area of Adamawa State. The silo was designed to withstand buckling and excessive heat transfer to the stored grains and it has a storage capacity of 1.517m3 and a headspace volume of 0.198m3. It was evaluated in terms of the relative humidity and temperatures of the headspace and the ambient environment. Results indicate that metal silo could be an alternative to the unethical use of hazardous chemicals for the preservation of beans.

Abstract:
This paper is all about developing an equipment to utilize plants waste as fertilizer. Organic composting forms the backbone & basic necessity of a poor farmer. The traditional methods are not sufficient & satisfactory for chopping the crop residues. Whereas buying the chemical fertilizer is not possible for every farmer due to its high cost and also food waste contains high calorific and nutritive values. In most of the places organic waste is dumped or disposed in landfill or discarded, which causes the public health hazards and diseases like malaria, cholera, typhoid. Equipment to utilize plants waste as fertilizer is used for chopping and converting macro organic waste products into small or micro easily decomposable form, which can be used as organic manure.

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 31 - 46, Vol 05 - No. 03, 2020
Abstract:
The actual maintenance predictive in rotative machinery presents a trend based on information from online monitoring vibration systems. Some specific malfunction symptoms supported by simple mathematical models are given, which include unbalance, rotor to stator rubbing, misalignment, fluid induced vibrations, Synchronous Dynamic Stiffness. Applications of synchronous perturbation testing, used for identification of basic dynamic characteristics of machinery are presented. The purpose of this paper is to present simple mathematical models that describe fundamental cause/effect/response relationships for several most important vibration related machinery malfunctions is adopted. In all models the modal approach is adopted, and mainly the first lateral mode of the rotor is considered. These mathematical models will be essential for the implementation of intelligent expert systems that detect and recommend the actions to be taken in case of the presence of breakdowns.

Abstract:
In the present situation, because of their family situation and passion women need to take every step equal to men. But they cannot step out of their safe zone at any time of the day, cannot wear clothes as per their will, nor can they can go for work in peace. Due to these reasons, there is a need for women security system. This proposed system adopted IoT technology to improve the women safety. Using IoT, physical devices can communicate with each other over internet irrespective with distance. The proposed system is a real-time, portable and secure system which used to send alert message to their relatives and nearby police station. This system consists of Raspberry pi zero board, raspberry pi camera, buzzer and a push button along with power supply. An android application is designed to simplify the user interface of smart band. Priority user has to install mobile application and select emergency contacts list (Mobile Number as well as Mail ID) to send information when they are in danger. When the button connected with raspberry pi is pressed, raspberry pi captures the image of the crime and send the emergency signal to the cloud database. As soon as emergency signal updated in the cloud, android application fetches the GPS location of user mobile and send to cloud. Similarly, it sends the SMS to contact list given by user. After that raspberry pi send the image of crime along with GPS location to mail address.

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 51 - 56, Vol 05 - No. 03, 2020
Abstract:
At present, the adherence of treatment activities for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis has resulted in poor clinical outcomes and ongoing infectivity. Directly Observed Treatment Shortcourse (DOTS) has now become the standard of care for monitoring Tuberculosis treatment, but this method has a number of limitations. At present, the use of conventional medication records systems is considered ineffective because it requires a long service time and large numbers of medical staff. This research proposes the method of developing information systems connected to smartphones to facilitate therapies observed remotely. This study developed a Swallowing Companion system integrated with telegram to provide medication reminders and facilitate taking photos of Tuberculosis drug consumption at a predetermined time every day, to be uploaded and then reviewed by medical personnel. Testing was carried out in public health services involving 17 respondents. Test results that have been validated by expert experts obtained a score of 61.5 (good), while the results of the validation of practitioners obtained a score of 64.5 (very good). The feasibility test results of the information system that was built using PSSUQ overall satisfaction has received a score of 85.28% (very feasible). The system test results show the significance value of 2-way (t-tailed) 0,000 <0.05 which means there are significant differences before and after the intervention of the information system that has been built. This study can be concluded that the information system that has been built is feasible, effective and easy to use as a self monitoring of tuberculosis patient adherence

International Journal of Latest Engineering Research and Applications, pp 83 - 86, Vol 05 - No. 03, 2020
Abstract:
This research studies cutting toolholdersthat have hardness varyingbetween 40 and 60 HRC. Workpiecescomposed of C10, C30, and C45 steel were used for the experiment. The measurement of the surface roughness shows that with soft steel such as C10, the higher the toolholder hardness, the better the surface quality. In particular, when the toolholder hardness increases from 40 to 60 HRC, the roughness reduces from 25.96 to 16.40 μm. With a harder workpiece, the influence of the damping function on the toolholder appears. The result shows that the hardness of 50 HRC is the best value for the turning process, which will reduce the roughness to 20.86 and 17.90 μm for the C30 and C45 workpieces, respectively. The main reason for this is the combination of damping parameterssuch as mass, spring, and hardness of the toolholder.
