The Effect of Electric Current and Wire Feed Rate onWEDM towards The Spur Gear Surface Roughness

Abstract:
WireElectrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) is one of machines which has high precision. This machine is used to build highly precision and complex engine components. WEDM parameter process gives effect to the dimension of working object. Electric current and wire feed rate is one of the parameters affecting the WEDM process. This research was conducted to know the effect of electric current and wire feed ratetoward surface roughness of spur gear making using WEDM.This research used experimental method and free variables used were varied electric currents 2,4,6, and 8 Aand varied wire feed rate 3, 4, and 5 mm/s. variable tied to this research was surface roughness of spur gear. The findings showed that the higher the wire feed rate value, the higher the spur gearsurface roughness. The lowest surface roughnessvalue was 1.91μm happened on combination of variant of wire feed rate 4 mm/son variable current 2 A. The highest surface roughness value was 2.94 μm happened on variant of wire feed rate 5 mm/s on variable current 8 A.

Abstract:
The automated bulk IC programming unit is aimed at companies manufacturing electronic devices. This can be used to program hundreds of ICs without any intervention and also no supervision is required. The IC just needs to be placed on the conveyer after which all the functioning is handled by the electro-mechanical system. This reduces human effort to a greater extent by using scientific technology. PICkit is a family of programmers for PIC microcontrollers. They are used to program and debug microcontrollers as well as program EEPROM. Thus the set up can be employed to debug programs with varying memory into the programmable ICs.

This paper aims to review/survey a singer identification and classification of musical performance and also classified by extracting audio features from real sample sounds. This study provides an overview of various feature and model-based approaches developed in past for robust singer voice identification. The importance and discussion of some standard methods applied for robust singer voice verification tasks have been highlighted. The main focus is to summarily introduce popular state-of-the-art techniques adopted for enhancing singer voice verification performance in noisy conditions.

Abstract:
Living things, both plants and animals do undergo a process of growth that spans a life that terminates with death. Similarly, all elements of the built environment particularly buildings also undergo similar ageing process within the spread of their live span. Right from the day of commissioning that marks, the beginning of a building's life span deterioration or ageing process starts, however, it is the proper or timely maintenance/replacement aged of the building elements that will determine the functional life span. This paper attempts to identify the factors responsible for maintenance need and frequency in public and private building structures in Osogbo the capital of Osun State, Nigeria from professionals' perspective. Well-structured questionnaires were randomly distributed among the staff of Osun State Government Secretariat, Osogbo, public and private schools and some banks. The returned questionnaires were analyzed and the result indicate that, quality of the building elements (materials) and the standard of workmanship are major factors that generate maintenance need in the studied buildings.

Abstract:
In current scenario the demand on electricity is much higher than that of its production. The main aim of our paper is to generate electricity by using pressure of wind created by the fast moving vehicle in highways. Wind power has sufficient potential to overcome the demand in energy sector. This demand can be overcome by using vertical axis highway windmill (VAHW). In India only 13.4% of renewable energy sources utilized, remaining energy is get wasted. The introducing a new unique method of VAHW, wind energy was effectively used. By using pressure of air which is much higher in the central part of highway, vertical blades of windmill will rotate. Generator will produce electricity by using rotation of blades. The use of magnetic levitation technique, the efficiency of the project is get improved because it reduces the frictional losses and increase the rotational speed. Maglev wind turbine is able to rotate at minimum wind speed i.e, at 1.5 m/s. Which is not possible in conventional one. So we can get better results and the utilization of wind energy is get increased.

Abstract:
The Construction Industry in India is gaining paramount importance now. The demonetization has literally shaken the industries, especially the construction sector. Virtually, a blow was slapped on the fast growing industry which came to a standstill. All the troubles are over. The situation now is gradually getting better. The increased loan availability at decreased rates of interest gives an inducement to first time buyers. While the common feature in construction sector was buying and selling of apartments for the Sake of investment (thereby shooting up the prices), a welcome scene is visible now in which "first time buyers‟ play a prominent role. This is possible with higher disposable income, thanks to overall development in the economy and with larger apartments for easy comparison and selection. In effect, the heavily beaten up industry is now vigorously revitalized for a virtual boom.

Adventitious signal identification and estimation of alveolar exudates

Abstract:
Exudates are unwanted lipids propagated by blood vessel. Identification and estimation of exudates in bronchioles through the use of image processing techniques is addressed in this paper. This provides significant information that allows for an accurate diagnosis, registration, classification and visualization of bronchioles generating adventitious sound. Identifying and counting exudates of asthmatic bronchiole is carried out by image processing techniques. Simultaneously the the adventitious sound produced by the exudates is analyzed by Hilbert Huang Transform (HHT). Various morphological filtering operations are carried out on the alveolar images to segregate exudates and quantify their strength. The blobs in the spectrogram and the frequencies emphasized in HHT indicate the presence of exudates in the alveoli. HHT is very useful to analyze nonlinear and nonstationary abnormal lung sounds like crackles. Finally the first Intrinsic Mode Function (IMF) of Empirical mode decomposition (EMD) from thus obtained sound wave from alveolar exudates is plotted.

Abstract:
Mobile ad-hoc networks are wireless and dynamic topology networks. The main purpose of using MANET is to send the data securely between source and destination in a public channel. Due to the advancement of a technology, the need of wireless networks is increasing day by day. Hence, MANET adds upon its usage over wired communication, especially wireless networks are ideally suited for use in rescue and emergency operations because of their advanced applications in situations like crisis management, military and health care. So, message security plays predominant importance in mobile ad-hoc networks but wireless networks are vulnerable to many attacks that are not secured and less-worthy. The existing protocols works on the basis of authentication, group signature, and onion routing. Here, we proposed TRUST BASED ANONYMOUS SECURE ROUTING (TBASR) for MANET in adverse environment. This protocol defends the neighbor nodes attacks by the way of key encryption and decryption through route-request and reply. The node trust is achieved through group signature and trust of the path is achieved by asymmetric key encryption. By using this it detects intruders in the networks and avoids packet delay between opponent nodes. Onion routing is used for obtaining anonymity during packet transmission.

Abstract:
A review is presented for vibration suppression of elevated water tank. During the last decade more and more attention has been put to vibration mitigation of structures subjected to environmental (i.e. seismic and wind loads) and manmade (i.e. traffic or heavy machinery) loads. Water tanks are important components of lifeline and industrial facilities. During the earthquakes that more number of tank damages has been observed, this shows that it is necessary to choose new methods to improve the seismic resistance of elevated water tank (EWT). A supplemental device is one of the effective methods to improve the energy dissipation and vibration control of Elevated Water Tank. Seismic dampers are special supplemental devices introduced in the building to absorb the energy provided by the ground motion to the building. The damper can be classified into various categories based on its functions or control system; such as Passive, Active and Semi active control system. This paper first presents basics about seismic control systems and the reviews of work done on elevated water tank.. Then this paper reviews introduction into the application of piezoelectric friction damper in various civil structures such as beams, trusses, steel frames and cable-stayed bridges.

Abstract:
The FACT device STATCOM is one of the most efficient shunt connecting regulating device which have an ability to inject and absorb the reactive power in accordance with system voltage. Now this work deals with new technique named Reference Voltage compensation(RVC)in conjunction with STATCOM based on proportional ,integral and derivative(PID) control action which reduces much the transient peak and settling time of voltage and reactive power output which were still present after application of STATCOM. It has been found that the RVC using PID control concept has proved to have an excellent performance over the other similar techniques in the improvement of power system stability by reducing transient oscillation due to faults and load switching and improving power factor thereby increased system life. The result of operation of three phase system with and without STATCOM with RVC by using MATLAB simulation are recorded.

Abstract:
This is after design method where the natural frequencies of beam alters by creating cylindrical grooves or series of cylindrical groove on beam surface has investigated. There are several method to change the natural frequency of beam like change in support layout, addition of mass like ribs or stiffener but all has design restriction. Proposed method creates only cylindrical grooves to optimize the natural frequency which is one step process. Groove size is very small compare to beam size. Hence total mass of beam doesn't get affected. Grooves affect the local stiffness where they are made on beam. Change in local stiffness changes natural frequency proportionally without changing mass. Effect of groove size and location on natural frequency were studied and presented. To find out the optimal values of groove location and groove size, optimization technique was used. Modal analysis of both non – grooved and grooved beam carried out by both experimentally as well as in simulation. Harmonic analysis were carried out to show the effect of groove on mode shape. FFT analyzer used to extract the natural frequency of beam experimentally.

Abstract:
Man‟s fate, today, is no longer in the hands of the gods, but is often in conflict with the evil in other men. Man makes himself, or thinks he can. The heart and mind of contemporary man is therefore, moved by other casualties, than salvation. __ Mulk Raj Anand Identity is a state of mind in which someone recognizes or identifies their character traits that leads to finding out who they are and what they do. It‟s basically who you are and what you define yourself as being. The thirst for identity has always been an aspect of significance in the Indo -Anglican novels. The novels of R. K. Narayan, Mulk Raj Anand and Raja Rao laid the foundation of the new Indian English fiction. The post-colonial age represented by these three novelists was chiefly a quest for identity along different dimensions of socio-political and economic order of India. Anand's purpose is to show that even a person belonging to the lowest social class is a human being who has a dignity and suffers from the alienation forced upon him by caste society. The novel Untouchable, describes a day in the life of Bakha, a scavenger a well-built child of nature. He, like every individual, longs for his identity. Likewise, in Coolie, Munoo, the protagonist , moves from the village to the town, from the town to the city and then to the mountains in search of identity. In Two Leaves and a Bud, the opening line of the novel, "Life is a journey into the unknown" hints at the identity crisis that it‟s filled up with. The protagonist Gangu, an old and beaten man becomes a victim of colonial exploitation.

This writing gives a first paper on the application fields of facts mining which is full of changes into telecommunication, making, Fraud discovery, and marketing and education part. In this way of doing we use size, feeling of a material and chief colour factors of an image. Grey Level Co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) point is used to come to a decision about the feeling of a material of an image. Points such as feeling of a material and colour are normalized. The image acts to get back point will be very sharp using the feeling of a material and colour point of image gave with the form point. For similar types of image form and feeling of a material point, weighted Euclidean distance of color point is put to use for getting back points.

Today's life deals with various energy uses, if there is no electrical energy we can't survive in life. World and our country India face the problem with electrical energy distortion losses in power system. Power quality is a very important issue. Its impact on electricity suppliers equipment, manufacturer and customer. "Power quality is define as any problem manifested in voltage, current and frequency that can be result in failure or damage of customer equipment."It refers to a wide variety of electromagnetic phenomena that characterize the voltage and current at given time and at a given location in power system. Sensitive loads such as computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), variable speed drive (VSD) etc are effected by the power quality problems. To solve this problems, the DVR is modern and important power device, for compensation voltage sag. In power distribution system, the Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is fast, flexible and efficient solution to voltage sag problem. The DVR is series connected device to mitigate voltage sag and to restore load voltage to its rated value. In this paper we have decide to design "Dynamic Voltage Restorer".

Public transport in most of Indian cities is rapidly deteriorating because of increasing travel demand and insufficient transportation system. Aurangabad, important city in state of Maharashtra facing numerous problems related to public transport because of increase in population of both people and motor vehicles. Due to this there is tremendous increase in number of accidents, environmental degradation, traffic congestion, frequency of services and schedule is not adhered. Thus, there is great need to improve public transportation system and for this Bus Rapid Transit System is the appropriate solution. BRTS is superior to other transportation system which provides knowledge about automated vehicle location system and also being flexible, easily accessible and cost effective being able to transport large number of people. For implementation purpose to know there is need of BRTS or not, various data such as accident data, interview of people and driver for what problem they face, various traffic studies are carried out.

Particular band rejection is very important from the security point of view and to evade interference, as interference can modify or disturb the signal propagating from source to destination through the channel. Nowadays we meet lot of accidents. We also heared lot of bus accident, car accident, etc. There are many types of accidents occurring in the world. One of them is due to unconscious of the driver. My project is about the driver who has suddenly got an heart attack while driving the bus. In that case, a sensor will be connected in his hand and a will be fixed in the passengers section. When he gets heart attack, the sensor identifies it and an alarm rings in the passengers section. Then the passengers will get alert and they will stop the bus. By doing this we can avoid accident and also we can save the driver's life. The detailed study of this will be shown below.

Pedal operated multipurpose bicycle with sprayer and water lifting pump

Abstract:
There are millions of people live in the villages of Indiawithout having reliable energy sources and means of power supply needed for the domestic or agricultural fields. Considering this, an attempt is made to develop a water lifting system using the pedal operated power with additional featuresas a sprayer for pesticides and insecticides. This setup is portable (mobility) as it is mounted on the same bicycle. The pedal operation of this cycle reduces alternate source of energy. At the same time it can be used for spraying the liquids (chemicals) with the same pedal power. The time of operation depends upon the efficiency of this reciprocating pump used to lift the water. This mechanism is more reliable and useful in the remote village to get the sufficient source of power. The multi ability makes it more special. The pump setup includes a housing in which a foot pedal and drive shaft rotate an eccentric disc rotating with the drive shaft moves a connecting rod which in turn causes push rod to move linearly.

Conservation of energy has been necessity matter of the present time. In order to keep a check on global pollution, the use of non-conventional sources of energy has also been necessitated. To enhance the overall efficiency of solar panels by keeping them aligned along with the sun position, Solar tracking system is used nowadays. In the paper, study of solar tracking systems with solar and wind energy has been presented, along with installation of hybrid system and the tracking of sun light gives the high energy efficiency by uninterrupted power by using hybrid energy system. Basically this system involves the integration of two energy system that will give continuous power. The equipment consists of combination of photovoltaic (PV) solar-cell array, a mast mounted wind generator, storage batteries(lead-acid), an inverter used to convert direct current (DC) power to alternate current (AC) power, electrical loads, and test instruments for measuring voltages, power factors, currents and harmonic contamination data throughout the system.

Abstract:
Energy need of the world is growing day by day because of consumption of energy at a larger extent with the population growth. This paper is about generating power by using a swing in such a way that when it swings the mechanical energy is generated and it is converted into electrical energy by a commutator and is stored in a battery. The construction is such a way that, the swinging action makes the horizontal beam rotating through an angle. This shaft is connected to a sprocket to transfer the motion to the free wheel which rotates proportionally with respect to the angle of motion of the swing. The angular movement is converted into a complete rotation with the help of a chain drive connecting both sprocket and free wheel. The free wheel is connected to a shaft which in turn rotates the spur gear and dynamo arrangement to generate electricity.

Abstract:
Cooling tower is a heat rejection device. It is used to dissipate waste heat into the atmosphere. This paper is all about the developing a cooling tower that cools the hot water coming from the different equipment in energy conversion lab. In energy conversion lab, there are total five equipments from which we are getting hot water while conducting the experiment. Due to hotness the water is not suitable for experimentation. So the hot water is directly released into the ground without being recirculated. This necessitates the development of cooling tower to cool the water. For this purpose a tank used where the hot water coming from the different equipment gets collected. The hot water is then supplied to the cooling tower for cooling by the use of motor pump. The cooling effect is obtained by the natural air which is entering in the gap provided by the louvers. After the water is cooled it gets collected in another tank which is kept at the bottom of the cooling tower. The cooled water is recirculated into the equipment for conducting the experiment.

Then the paper cutting is achieved by crank & lever mechanism. The cutter will be back to its original position by lever crank mechanism. The objective of this concept is to design the Geneva mechanism operated paper cutting machine which eliminates the most time taking process of paper marking and helps in feed equal dimension paper in each rotation. This machine is used to reduce the manual work of paper cutting, and also time saving. Coin based cell phone charger is essential because many people attending business conventions tend to forget their charger at home or in hotel rooms. Students and many people who use the public transportation tend to have a low battery are prospective customers for coin based cell phone charger service. Recommended locations include: hotels, conference centre, leisure centre, shopping malls, internet cafes, colleges, airports, train terminals, etc., so that the mobile phone users can reactivate a low or dead battery by simply plugging in and charging for one rupee. This is designed based on ATMEL 89S52 a 40-pin micro controller that does the countdown timings for a period of 1 minute with LCD displays showing the actual time left. Abstract:
Pure water is very much essential to survive, but now a days the water is getting contaminated due to Industrialisation which leads to many water-releated diseases. Reverse Osmosis(RO) Water Purification by Cycling Action meets the needs of people without requiring any electrical energy. RO is a physical process that uses the osmosis phenomenon, that is, the osmotic pressure difference between the salt water and the pure water to remove the salts from water. Water will pass through the membrane, when the applied pressure is higher than the osmotic pressure, while salt is retained. As a result, a low salt concentration permeate stream is obtained and a concentrated brine remains at the feed side. A typical RO system consists of four major sub-system : pre-treatment system, high-pressure pump, membrane module and post treatment system. In operation by pedaling the cycle, man power is converted into mechanical energy which is further converted into hydraulic energy in RO pump.

Abstract:
The material handling vehicles usually take more time to adjust its position, and unload at the exact location. This paper explain the design and fabricate a trolley turning and lifting arrangement for such vehicles. This mechanism is proposed to make the unloading easier in multi direction,only by turning the trolley rather than the vehicle in order to make the work more economic and efficient.The reciprocating motion of piston is transmitted to the crankshaft, one end of which is connected to a magnet and stator coil arrangement which creates electrical power with crankshaft rotation by generating an electromagnetic field of 14.5V to 15.5V and store it into a 12 Volt battery. The battery power is used to run twomotors,one for the trolley rotation and another for the scissor jack. Initially the battery power is used to run first motor which is responsible for the trolley rotation. After rotating trolley to desire direction, the power supply is switched to the second motor to operate scissor jack for lifting of trolley and the material will be unloaded into the desired direction.

Modern development and economical progression of Indian society resulted in increase of people on railway platform, increase of vehicle on the road,due to space constraints, in hospital is major problem of the country. Present study aims for development of a system to reduce the turning radius of vehicle.In this system at first vehicle is stopped and wheels are then turned in the required direction with help of steering system and DC motor. It has turning radius nearly equal to negligible of length of the vehicle itself.This vehicle used to carry the goods in various area such as, railway platform, hospital, industries and market.

Abstract:
A Solar Operated Pesticide Sprayer is a pump running on electricity generated by photovoltaic panels or the thermal energy available from collected sunlight as opposed to grid electricity or diesel run water pumps. The operation of solar powered pumps is more economical mainly due to the lower operation and maintenance costs and has less environmental impact than pumps powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE). Solar pumps are useful where grid electricity is unavailable and alternative sources (in particular wind) do not provide sufficient energy. The solar panels make up most (up to 80%) of the systems cost. The size of the PV-system is directly dependent on the size of the pump, the amount of water that is required (m³/d) and the solar irradiance available. The solar sprayer has many advantages. Besides reducing the cost of spraying, there is a saving on fuel/petrol. Also, the transportation cost for buying petrol is saved. The solar sprayer maintenance is simple. There is less vibration as compared to the petrol sprayer. The farmer can do the spraying operation by himself without engaging labour, thus increasing spraying efficiency

This paper deals with design to save a child that is struck in a manhole. In recent days, we get some news like a child have struck up in a manhole and it takes more than a day to save it. Here in this paper, a child fallen in a manhole is to be saved using a computer controlled motor with a camera to monitor the position of the child and the action of the arms. In this alternative scenario, there will not be any requirement of digging any hole parallel to the bore-well. The remotely controlled robot will go down the bore-well and perform the action. A lot of other hassles will also be avoided by this alternative technique.The child can be saved within a short period of time without any type of difficulties. Also, the machine is accurate, gas is also detected in manhole and there will not be any damage to the child by the machine.

Rope-pumps are used for lifting water from a well using a hand operated or pedal operated mechanism. A rope pump is a kind of pump where a loose hanging rope is lowered down into a well and drawn up through a long pipe with the bottom immersed in water. On the rope, round disks or knots matching the diameter of the pipe are attached which pull the water to the surface. The primary objective of this work was to develop a system which incorporates a suitable cost effective renewable power source for the operation of a rope-pump for a given well depth, volume of water required and environmental conditions in the proposed installation location. The design of the wheelchair consisting of a frame, a seat and a six DC geared motor linkage mechanism that connects frame and seat. The six DC geared motor linkage moves and rotates the belt, the wheel chair from overturning and to guarantee a comfortable posture to the passenger during different operations. When the wheelchair faces an obstacle such as a step or a stair, it can passively change locomotion mode, from rolling on wheels.

Abstract:
Quad Copter is a flying robot that can achieve vertical flight in a stable manner and can be used to monitor various activities. Technological advances have reduced the cost and increased the performance of the low power microcontrollers so use of quad copters is growing. Building a quad copter that can obtain stable flight and carry out an aerial surveillance can help in solving security and defense related issues. A Frame, Motors, Electronic Speed Controllers, Battery, Flight Controller, Transmitter and Receiver are used for the building a quad copter however, synchronizing them together is challenging. A software named Openpilot is a tool to interface the components and calibrate them. The audio and video captured by the quad copter during flight is transmitted using a wireless transmitter module which is received by a wireless receiver module which then feeds it into a PC at the ground. Quad Copters being a multi-dimensional flying machine can be used for any purpose with little changes in its design thus can be called a highly flexible flying machine. A large payload capacity can make it more multi-dimensional and more flexible. This can increase the area of application of the quad copter built.
